A New 30-Day Challenge

I'm going to join in the fun this time.  So I'll be posting a new series I have recently completed here....all sumi ink on old book paper and displayed on archival 11 x 8.5 inch black rag paper.

There are actually more than 30 in the series, so some days I'll post a few images.

This series grew out of my love for the purity of ink, my deep admiration for asian style painting and a goal of capturing pure essence of a subject - in this case the humble fork, knife and spoon.
